Mr. Douglas Armstrong
Doug Armstrong is the owner of a small consulting business specializing in government relations, organizational changes, strategic management and governance. Doug served as the CAO of Peterborough County for over two decades and is a past Manager of the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce. Doug is a Board Member on the Greater Toronto Airports Authority and has served as a member of the GO Transit Board of Directors. Serving on the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation Board, he was Vice Chair and Treasurer, and was appointed as a Governor Emeritus in 2008. Doug serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Community Futures Development Corporation and a member of the Association of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario, International Institute of Municipal Clerks and Association of Municipalities of Ontario. |

Dan Stanford
Dan Stanford is President of Cabinetree in Peterborough, a company he started in 1988. Dan is also past President of the Peterborough District Construction Exchange and past Chair of the Board of the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce. Dan serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Community Futures Development Corporation. |

Crystal McMillan
Crystal was raised in the County of Peterborough and has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) from Trent University. She is the Deputy Clerk for the Township of Douro-Dummer and has over eight years of municipal experience. She works in the areas of council, planning and economic development. |

Drew Merrett
Drew is the owner of Merrett Home Hardware Building Centre in Peterborough. He has 22 years of retail experience dealing with all aspects of running a successful franchise company. Drew is an active member of the Peterborough Northumberland Crime Stoppers Board of Directors and is a past director of the Peterborough Sales and Advertising Club. |

Kathy Windrem
Kathy Windrem is a Partner with BDO Canada LLP Chartered Accountants and Advisors. Kathy manages the Peterborough, Cobourg, Lindsay, Uxbridge and Oshawa offices and is also a member of the BDO Canada Advisory Committee for the Ontario Lakelands Region. Kathy is a Past Chair of the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce. |

Kim Appleton

Kim is also a Past President of the Women’s Business Network of Peterborough and currently sits on the both the WBN Board and its 50th Anniversary Committee as Technical Director. |

Robert (Rob) McCarthy
Rob grew up on a 300-acre family farm. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1973 with a BSc degree from their College of Life Sciences and Agriculture. Rob spent years working in the corporate community, many as a District and Divisional General Manager. A strong business acumen was gained through extensive people and business training. Rob has served on many local Boards of Directors and committees such as the Peterborough Construction Exchange, Durham Construction Exchange, Peterborough Golf and Country Club and local sports associations. |

Raymond (Ray) Dart
Dr. Raymond Dart is an Associate Professor in the Business Administration Program at Trent University and Director of the Business Administration Program, as well as former Principal of Peter Gzowski College. He teaches in organization analysis, entrepreneurship and market research areas in the undergraduate business program, and also teaches and supervises research in the Sustainability M.A. program. He is particularly interested in connections between business and community development, and does research and consulting work in the social enterprise area. |

Terry Merrill has held the position of General Manager of the Holiday Inn Peterborough Waterfront since September 2000, is the Vice-President of the Peterborough Destination Association, Past Chair of the Peterborough and Area Chamber of Commerce and has more than 30 years experience in the Hospitality Business. |

David Crowley
David is a partner in Crowley Farms Norwood Ltd., a broiler chicken operation and Crowley Bus lines Ltd.; a family owned School Bus Company as well as a few other smaller business ventures. He is currently the Past President of the Norwood Agricultural Society, Past Chairman of the Board of Directors for HTM Insurance Company in Cobourg, and currently Chairman of the Asphodel- Norwood Police Service board.

Gregg has the Certified Financial Planner, Financial Management Advisor and Chartered Professional Strategic Wealth designations. His past volunteer work includes the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Board of Directors of the Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation, Junior Achievement and Easter Seals. He is currently on the Finance & Investment Committee with the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Foundation. |

Cora Whittington Cora Whittington is an entrepreneur, a trainer and coach. Cora is a Leadership, Business and Life Coach, Appreciative Inquiry Specialist, Facilitator, Team Builder and Workshop Presenter. specializing in eliminating barriers and moving forward. She owns Golden Pathways Retreat and B&B, one of the few facilities designed by a facilitator for breakthrough meetings and retreats. In the past, Cora was a trainer with WRED (Woman and Rural Economic Development) OATI (Ontario Agricultural Training Institute) and a GPAEDC board member. |

Brian Horton Brian Horton was born and raised in Peterborough and has had the privilege of working in the community since 1992. He is a business (Marketing) graduate of Sir Sandford Fleming College, as well as Lakehead University and has enjoyed a rewarding career in sales, sales management and business development. Currently as a Financial Security Advisor with Freedom 55 Financial, he has seen his practice evolve primarily with retirees whose major concern is health care. To better assist his clients, Brian completed his Elder Planning Counselor designation (EPC). He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS). Brian also volunteers his time with a number of other local boards. |
