The Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) is a $10 million, short-term contribution to a program aimed at addressing socio-economic challenges in Eastern Ontario. The EODP is managed by FedDev, the regional economic development organization responsible for rural Eastern Ontario and is delivered by the 15 local Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) in Eastern Ontario. The funding, from the Government of Canada, will allow rural Eastern Ontario communities to pursue the creation of a competitive and diversified regional economy through investment in community economic development, small business growth and job creation.
The EODP consists of seven funding elements including; Business Planning, Skills Development, Youth Interns, Local Initiatives, Innovation & Information Communication Technology, Community Capacity and Access to Capital. The details of each specific program element are listed below under each element heading, including Application Guides and Application Forms for each element of interest.
