Call for Applications

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH and COMMUNITY INNOVATION

For more than 10 years, the Peterborough Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) has supported local companies and organizations expand their operations through the Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP).

We are now accepting applications on a continuous basis until all funding has been committed.  Applications will be accepted until noon on the last Tuesday of every month.  To ensure we receive complete applications, and for quality assurance purposes, only HARD COPIES will be accepted.  Email submission WILL NOT be accepted.

Project Qualifications:

EODP funding supports recipients whose projects focus on business growth:

  • Labour market development
  • Strategic planning and research studies
  • Business incubators
  • Supply chain analysis and development
  • Industry cluster development and expansion
  • Productivity enhancements
  • Market diversification and expansion
  • Product development
  • Training and mentoring
  • Skills development and training

All funds to be committed and spent by February 28, 2015.


Eastern Ontario Development Program

EODP objectives focus on two priority areas that will increase new, sustainable jobs in Peterborough County:  Business Development and Community Innovation.

A.  Business Development and Growth

Business Development and Growth will support projects that will lead to the growth of new and existing businesses within rural eastern Ontario communities. This includes initiatives in key areas, such as:

  • New business development
  • Existing business productivity enhancement
  • Business infrasture
  • Expansion of economic assets

B.  Community Innovation 

 Community Innovation Projects will support strategic community-led economic development that will enhance and diversify local economies.  This includes initiatives in the key areas of:

Business Infrastructure
       - Business incubators
       - Supply chain analysis and development
